George died January 11, 2008 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN. OBIT: George Wayne McBride, 65, of Bloomington, died Friday at his residence. Born Dec. 15, 1942, in Bloomington, he was the son of Herbert and Opal Belle (Hess) McBride. He was self-employed. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Tootsie McBride; one daughter and her husband, Jennifer and John Anderson of Bloomington; one son, Wesley McBride of Bloomington; two sisters, Sue Barber of Leavenworth, Kan., and Phyllis Self of Unionville; one brother, Howard Vernon McBride of Unionville; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal McBride, in 2007, and his father, Herbert McBride, in 1984. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, with Don Gardner officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
