Samuel died September 2, 2000 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH. OBIT: SAMUEL BRYAN PERRY, Jr., age 70, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 2, 2000. Mr. Perry was born April 5, 1930 in Hazard, KY. He was a son of the late Bryan & Ethel (Fairchild) Perry. He retired from Delco Products - Kettering in 1981 after 30 years; was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict; member of American Legion Post # 762 of New Lebanon and the D.A.V. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sister Wilma and brother John.

Survived by his wife Carol Y. (Kreitzer) Perry whom he married on April 23, 1955; sons Samuel Perry and Stephen Perry both of West Alexandria, OH and Michael Perry of New Lebanon; daughters Margaret Reed of Holly Hills, FL, Adeline Schaeff of West Alexandria and Gabriel Porter of Trenton, OH; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters Phyllis, Janette, Doris and Wanetta; brothers Jerry and Hubert.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 7, 2000 at the Barnes Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Crotinger presiding. Friends may call on the family from 6 - 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria.

He married Carol Yvonne Kreitzer April 23, 1955. Carol was born October 9,1931 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH. Carol was the daughter of Emanuel H. Kreitzer and Beatric Sue Tharp. Carol died January 23, 2004 in Preble Co., OH. OBIT: Carol Y. Perry, 72, of West Alexandria, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004.

She was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Dayton to Emmanuel and Alpha Thorp Kreitzer.

Survivors include sons, Samuel III, Stephen and Michael Perry; daughters, Margaret Reed, Adeline Schaeff, Gabriele Porter; brother, Steven Kreitzer; sisters, Joyce Diemer, Susan Ankrom.

Her husband, Samuel Perry Jr., died Sept. 2, 2000.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, with visitation noon-2 p.m. Monday.
