John died June 29, 2000 in Morehead, Rowan Co., KY. OBIT: John Gardner Perry, 72, of West Liberty, died Thursday, June, 29 2000 in St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead. Mr. Perry was born Feb. 9, 1928, a son of the late Bryan and Ethel Fairchild Perry. His wife, Alma Marie Collins Perry, preceded him in death. He was a retired factory supervisor and a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are a daughter, Pam Stakelin of West Liberty; a son, Bryan Perry of West Liberty; four sisters, Phyllis Paydo of Carson City, Nev., Jeanette Sammons and Doris Arnold, both of North Vernon, Ind., and Wanette McKenzie of West Liberty; three brothers, Hubert Perry of Dayton, Ohio, Jerry Perry of West Liberty and S.B. Perry of Alexander, Ohio; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Herald-Stewart & Hasley Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.
He married Alma Marie Collins.
John Gardner Perry and Alma Marie Collins had the following children:
