Elizabeth died October 10, 2011 in Dacusville, SC. OBIT: Elizabeth Beard Smith, 78, of 110 Smith Hill Rd., wife of the late Amos Z. Smith passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at her home.
Born August 4, 1933 in Catawba County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Emmitt Beard and the late Gracie Litten Beard. She was a seamstress all her life and was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church. She loved all her family as well as music, working puzzle books and her little dog “Priss”.
She is survived by her children, Katherine Redding of Dacusville, Patrick Smith (Tanya) of Six Mile, Kenneth Smith (Teresa), Pam Garrick (Amos) and Scott Smith (Pam) all of Dacusville; one brother; one sister; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one sister.
