She married Herbert Lee Thompson. Herbert was born September 8, 1922. Herbert died September 24, 2011 in Brandenburg, Meade Co., KY. OBIT: Herbert Lee Thompson Sr., 89, of Brandenburg, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Thompson; four children, Herbert Thompson Jr., Gary Gene Thompson, David L. Thompson and Rebecca Mattie Thompson Greer.

A memorial service was Sunday, Oct. 9, at New Brandenburg Baptist Church.
