IN January 30, 1946. LaDeanna died December 9, 2010 in Muncie, Delaware Co. IN. OBIT: Muncie-LaDeanna E. “Deannie” May, 64, passed away early Thursday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on January 30, 1946 in Muncie, the daughter of Gordon Secuskie and Lora (Armstrong) Southers. Deannie married the love of her life David E. May on January 22, 1963 in Muncie and he still survives. Mrs. May had been a homemaker. She attended the True Light Baptist Church, enjoyed bowling, crochet work, needle point, drawing and painting. Dennie loved family times with her grandchildren as well. Survivors include her husband of 47 years David, Parker City; four sons, David May II, Muncie, Darrin May, Muncie, DeWayne May (wife-Kim), Spring Hill, Florida and Darrell May (companion-Ashley Buck), Parker City; one daughter, LoRinda Hamilton (husband-Keith), Muncie; nineteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Gordon “Bengie” Secuskie, Muncie; two sisters, Gay Neal, Albany and Sarah Neal (husband-John L. Neal III), Muncie; several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, a special uncle and Aunt, Max and Eula Armstrong and her maternal grandparents, Webb and Vera Bertram. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, 2:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow at the Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Monday, December 13, 2010, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
She married David E. May January 30, 1963 in Muncie, Delaware Co. IN.
