Sherry died November 29, 2004 in Rock Island, Rock Island co., IL. OBIT: Sherry L. Robertson, 42, a resident of Reynolds, Ill. died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus in Rock Island, Ill., after an illness.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Westside Assembly of God Church, Davenport, where she was a loyal and active member. Her husband, Pastor Joey Robertson, is the Children's Pastor at the Church.
Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Westside Assembly of God for the Family.
She was born on August 20, 1962 in Fort Madison, the beloved daughter of Richard and LaVirda (Miller) Brown. On July 14, 1984, she was united in marriage to Pastor Joey C. Robertson in Fort Madison.
Sherry lived for the Lord and was a loving and caring wife and mother. She was deeply involved in a multitude of church activities, especially in programs for the children. Even though she will be sadly missed, she will always be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her. She was a 1981 graduate of the Fort Madison Community High School.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Pastor Joey; her children, Elizabeth, Nathan, Arron, Andy, Matthew, and Jonathan; her father and stepmother, Richard and Wanda Brown of Dallas, Texas; her sister Tammy (husband Neal) Cowles, of Amarillo, Texas; and her brothers, Pastor Rich (wife Pam) Brown of Amarillo, Texas, Pastor Phil (wife Patrice) Brown of Cleburne, Texas, Neal (wife Laurie) Brown of Amarillo, Texas, and David (wife Mickey) Brown of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Sherry was preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandparent.
