Ruby L¹¹ Matthew (Jequettia Joy¹⁰ Allgood, Robert Lee⁹, William Charles⁸, William J.⁷, Richard J.⁶, John⁵, Ishmael⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Frederick, Tillman Co., OK October 14, 1956. Ruby died December 23, 2009 in Altus, Jackson Co., OK. OBIT: Funeral for Ruby L. McKinney, 53, Frederick, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Tesca Baptist Church, Frederick, with the Rev. Eddie Whitworth and the Rev. Ronnie Morgan officiating.

Mrs. McKinney died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, in Altus.

Burial will be in Chattanooga Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.

She was born Oct. 14, 1956, in Frederick, to Clarence Edward and Jequettia Joy Allgood Matthew. She attended Hollister Public School before transferring to Chattanooga High School, where she graduated in 1974. She married Joseph Waylon McKinney in 1997, in Vernon, Texas. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael Joe Diaz and Virginia Mayabb, Hobart; and Christopher Louis and Melissa Diaz, Frederick; a brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Shirley Matthew, Lawton; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Rita and Marty Powell, and Tina and Joe Diaz, all of Frederick; seven grandchildren: Ethan Marshall, Kaydence, Logan and Brooklyn Diaz, Christopher Mayabb, Destiny and Devon Diaz; and nieces and nephews: Jennifer, Johnathan and Stephen Powell, Amanda Matthew, Brandon Hogan, Anthony Diaz, J.J., B.J. and Coyle Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Joy Matthew.

She married twice. She married ((___) Diaz.
