Hazel died June 22, 2012 in Louisburg, Franklin Co., NC. OBIT: Hazel Cash Bobbitt, 88, died Friday morning, June 22, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bobbitt family cemetery, 123 Schloss Rd., Louisburg. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Hazel was a daughter of the late Ira Lee and Mary Mosley Cash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Bobbitt; her sister, Alma Thorne; and brother, Francis Cash.
Surviving: sons, Bryant Bobbitt (Janet) of Kittrell, and Charles Bobbitt (Diane) of Louisburg; brother, Elmo Cash of Montpelier, Va.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She married Vance Bryant Bobbitt. Vance was born December 5, 1919 in Franklin Co., NC. Vance was the son of Walter Eugene . Bobbitt and Mary Dickerson. Vance died February 23, 1994 in Durham, Durham Co., NC.
Hazel M. Cash and Vance Bryant Bobbitt had the following children:
