Idamae died November 29, 2011 in La Mesa, San Diego Co., CA. OBIT: Idamae passed away on November 29, 2011 due to cancer. She was born May 9, 1937, in Honolulu, Hawaii. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Idamae graduated from Judge Memorial High School and attended and worked at the University of Utah where she met and married Ted Yellen. They moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where their first son Joe was born, then to Washington D.C. where their second son Grant was born. The family later moved to San Diego where they lived for the next 33 years. Upon Ted's retirement they moved to Caldwell, Idaho. Idamae was very active in her sons education, their particiation in sports. In 1981, she served as the first female president of the La Mesa National Little League. She was an accomplished hula dancer and loved organizing get togethers with family and friends. She loved to play card games and was active in volunteer work, the most recent was with the West Valley Hospital in Caldwell. Funeral services will be held December 15 at Santa Sophia Church in Casa De Oro, Calif
