Georgia died Decembe 17, 2007 in Jacksonville, Duval Co, FL. OBIT: Penton Harms King passed away Dec.21, 2007. She was born April 27, 1927 in Savannah, the daughter of Herman H. and Lillian P. Harms and came to Jacksonville as a young child. Georgia was the widow of Leon Joseph King, Jr. of Jacksonville. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie K. Fisher (Dan) of Cincinnati, son Lon King (Claire), devoted sisters Ruth Knight, Lillian Earle, Margaret McKinney (Ed), cousin and friend Aleve Dickson Fugate and lifelong friends Ruth and Jim Atkinson and Pat and Harry Buffone. She leaves behind her grandchildren Justin (Traci) and Andrew King, Kara, M'Elise and Nicholas Millennor, her greatgrandchildren Leola and Stella King and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Herman Harms and sister Betty Danese. Georgia was a member of the Friendship Community Church and an avid birder. A large part of her life was her church family and her love for Jesus Christ. She was devoted to her family and loved by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Wed, Dec. 26th (TODAY) at CoreyKerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. from 47 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thur, Dec 27th at 10 am at Friendship Community Church, 1410 Tutter Street with Rev. Virgil Jerrell officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd.
