OBIT: Virginia Francis Hoyle Dorsey, 82, of 595 Old Watkins Road, Henderson, N.C., died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Maria Parham Medical Center.
Mrs. Dorsey was a homemaker and was a former employee of J.C. Penny Co. She was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry D. Elliot and Kathy D. Overton; a son, W. Donnie Dorsey; and one sister; Barbara Jean H. Wilborn.
She married William Llyod Dorsey Jr February 9, 1945 in NC. William was born March 10, 1921 in Vance Co., NC. William was the son of William Llyod Dorsey and Thelma Barnes. William died April 30, 2004 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC.
Virginia Frances Hoyle and William Llyod Dorsey Jr had the following children:
