Emily died August 20, 2012. OBIT: Emily Stainback Lowery, of Bennettsville, SC, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 20, 2012. She was 40 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25 at Richard Boles Funeral Service in Laurinburg, NC officiated by Rev. John Oxendine, Rev. Wyvast Lowery, Sr., and Johnnie M. Brigman.
Emily was born November 2, 1971 in Vance County, NC to Dean Lawrence Stainback and Johnnie McKinney. She worked as a guard with the security force at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Emily worshipped at Living Stones Church in Vass. Her greatest passion in life was spending time with her family and friends. She also loved the ocean and beach music and enjoyed watching the world from behind her camera. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.
To cherish her memory, Emily leaves on this earth her husband Wyvast Lowery, Jr. of Bennettsville, SC; three sons, Joshua Lawrence Gibson, Kristoffer Seth Gibson, and Dean Lawrence Stainback II, all of the home; her mother, Johnnie M. Brigman of Bennettsville, SC; two stepsons, Cody Lowery of Laurinburg and Ethan Lowery of Gibson; a stepdaughter, Carlie Lowery of Laurel Hill; two sisters, Amy Stainback Perkins of Hamlet, NC and Dena Michelle Stainback of Gibson, NC; three nephews, two nieces, and a host of friends and loved ones.
She married twice.
