He married Mary Catherine Pearce.
Dewey Hartwell Hamm and Mary Catherine Pearce had the following children:
29870 i. Tanya Dean11 Hamm was born in Vance Co., NC June 4, 1960. Tanya died January 8, 2008 in Lenior Co., NC. OBIT: Tanya Dean Hamm Crutcher, age 47, a resident of 2897 Blue Creek Road, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at her home. She was a retired respiratory therapist at Rex Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery in Epsom.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Pearce Hamm Swanson; husband, Kenneth L. Crutcher, M.D.; and one brother, Dewey Hamm Jr.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the J.M. White Funeral Home.
