Maxine died October 9, 2005 in Hot Springs, Garland Co., AR.

She married Stanley E. Jarrard June 7, 1947 in Washington, IA. Stanley was born April 23, 1928 in Washington, IA. Stanley was the son of Carl Jarrard and Myrtle (___). Stanley died Jjune 6, 2014 in Hot Springs, Garland Co., AR. OBIT: Stanley E. Jarrard, 86, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2014. He was born April 23, 1928 in Washington, Iowa to Carl and Myrtle Jarrard, where he learned his work ethic on the family farm. He was a graduate of Iowa State University where he received his degree in Forestry. Stanley was a devoted member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school, was a deacon and member of the building committee; he was also a member of the Lions Club. Stanley retired after a lifetime in forestry with Dierks/ Weyerhaeuser to lovingly care for his wife. He is predeceased by his wife, Maxine Jarrard, parents and 3 sisters. Loving survivors include daughters, Janie Bogler, Ruth Ann (Bruce) Fikes and Martha Rodgers, all of Hot Springs; son, Gene (Christine) Jarrard, of Kentucky; grandchildren, Forrest, Jessica, Betsy, Ben, Addison and Lynsey; and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith and pastor Mike Pounders officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Nina Alter and the staff at West Shores, as well as Elijah and Vlad at Comfort At Home Senior Care for the wonderful care they gave Stanley. He was a true gentleman, a man of great integrity and a Godly example to all of us. He will be missed, but we have wonderful memories to last a lifetime. The world is a better place because of “Stan the Man”.
