Marvin died February3, 2002. OBIT: Survived by his wife, Elsie Campbell Owen; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Danny Newcomb; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Phyllis Owen, Lynn and Kelly Owen, all of Chase City; three sisters, Thelma Brankley of Chase City, Dorothy Wallace of Mechanicsville, Betty Leason of Richmond; one brother, James Owen of Chase City; five grandchildren, Tonya Horne, Charles Newcomb, Beau Owen, Justin Owen and Zach Owen; one great-granddaughter, Lindy Newcomb and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin Edwin Owen and Elsie Campbell had the following children:
