James died September 25, 1988 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA. IBUTL DIAL SR., JAMES T.Died 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 1988, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 77, a native of Walton County, Ga., and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired construction superintendent and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home Guardian Chapel, 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Edwin Peters. Graveside services with full military rites at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Kathleen Argyle, Baton Rouge; a son, James T. "Pat" Dial Jr., Maryville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Sybil Wallace, Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Coleman L. Dial, Decatur, Ga.; and five grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Kegley Dial. He was a member of Riveroaks Baptist Church, VFW Zachary Taylor Post No. 3784 and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3668. He married Ruth Kegley. Ruth was born 1917. Ruth died 1974 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA.
