Bobby died October 13, 2013 in San Angelo, Tom Green Co., TX. OBIT: Bobby Gene Sims, 73, of San Angelo, formerly of Amarillo, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home of San Angelo.
Bobby was born May 1, 1940, to Woodrow and Gladys Sims in Cheyenne, Okla. Bobby was and always will be the family favorite. He was a gentle, kind and good man who will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kelvin; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sims; a son, Sam Edmiaston of Amarillo; two daughters, Pam Knox and husband Russ of Tuttle, Okla., and Becky Jones and husband Chuck of San Angelo; seven grandsons; a great-grandson; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Oleta Cree and husband Stan of Pittsburg and Darlene Carter and husband Roy of Hereford; and a brother, Loyd Sims and wife Sandra of Hide-A-Way.
Bobby Gene Sims and Sandra Joyce Tribbett had the following children:
