Dorothy Ray¹⁰ Smith (Julian⁹, James Elias (Lias)⁸, Emily⁷ Allgood, Wyatt⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Hodge, Jackson Parish, LA October 25, 1925. Dorothy died March 18, 2006 in Houston, Harris Co, TX. OBIT: Dorothy Clark, 80 of Houston, passed away Friday, March 18, 2006 at Memory Care Unit in Houston.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Holt Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direcion of Broussard's in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the mortuary.

She was a native of Lake Arthur, La and has most of her life in the Nederland and Port Arthur area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Nederland.

She is survived by her son, William Clark of Houston, daughter, Willa Podgornoff of Houston, and two grandchildren, Edward Podgornoff of Kansas City, Mo., and Dorothy Podgornoff of Austin.

She married J. P. Clark. J. was born June 18, 1921 in Erath Co., TX. J. was the son of Jesse Clark and Mary J. Slaughter. J. died December 12,1996 in Martin, Falls Co., TX.

Dorothy Ray Smith and J. P. Clark had the following children:
