She is survived by her four children, Christine Clark of Crewe, Mary Sampson of Richmond, Paul Spears, Jr., of Sophia, NC and Rick Spears of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren; five great-grandsons.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, at Lighthouse Church of God of Prophecy, Burkeville, VA. Interment Crewe Cemetery. Visitation was at Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home, Crewe, on Sunday, June 15, 2008, from 7pm to 8:30pm.

She married Paul Spears.
