He was a retired Santa Fe Railroad employee.
He was born July 12, 1920, in Strong City, the son of Lanious Wilson Moore and Essie Ann Lester. They preceded him in death, as did his wife, Katy Moore; son, Marlin Moore; brothers, Melvin, Oscar and Paul Moore; and a sister, Doris Hicks. He served in the U.S. Army.
Other survivors include his brother, Herbert Moore of Crawford, Colo.
