Gary died November 27, 2012 in Saginaw, Saginaw Co., MI. OBIT: Gary L. Coon of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away, at his home Tuesday, November 27, 2012, age 76 years. Gary was born in St. Louis, Michigan July 2, 1936 the son of the late Clyde Mervin and Beatrice Lucille (Bollenbacher) Coon. He married Mary Ledford October 1, 1993 and she survives him. Gary was a small engine mechanic and he loved helping others repair an engine in his garage. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors feeding the wild birds. In addition to his wife, Mary, Gary is survived by five children, Kathy (William) May, Deborah Frollo, Vickie Schaefer, Steve Preslupski and Melissa (Jason) Adams; nine grandchildren, Joey, Krystal, Aaron, Ryan, Debbie, Sarah, David, Mary and Robert; six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Andrew, Aubree, Levi, Gabrielle and Madeline; a sister, Judy (Tom) Smith and his special companion, "Buddy", his dog.
