Oral died May 20, 2003 in Hillsboro, Hill Co., TX. OBIT: Magdalene Gibson Wimberly, 93, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, May 20, at a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1909 in Benjamin, daughter of James Elbert and Emma Lilly Matthews Gibson, and had lived in Fort Worth for 21 years before moving to Hillsboro in the late 1970s. She was a secretary in medical records at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth for 21 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hillsboro. She married William Finch Wimberly December 24, 1925 in Brandon, and he preceded her in death January 29, 1940. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Joslin, in 1990. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Dr. Howard Daniel officiating. Burial was at Brandon-Bynum Cemetery near Brandon.
She married William Finch Wimberly December 24,1925 in Hubbard Hill Co., TX. William died January 29,1940.
