Thomas died September 30, 2009 in Franklin, Johnson Co., IN. OBIT: Thomas Jay "Tommy" Brooks, 54, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at his home in Franklin. He was a former resident of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Harden Brooks; two daughters, Wendy Lee and Jamie Lynn Brooks; three sons, Jeffrey Alan and Jeremy Tyler Brooks, both of Columbus, and Thomas "Tommy" Sterling of Franklin; two grandsons; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Ruth J. Dudley Brooks; a brother, William R. Brooks; and a sister, Susan Brooks.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Myers-Reed Chapel, 3729 25th St., Columbus. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
