Beulah died November 26, 1979 in Monreo, Ouachita Parish, LA. Obit-Monday November 26,1979: Beulah McKinley- Services for Mrs Beulah McKinley 75, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Springhill Cemetery near Swartz. Mrs. McKinley succumbed at 1 a.m. today at Hickory Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. A native of Mississippi, she had resided in Swartz for 72 years before moving to Hickory Manor about 18 months ago. She is survived by two sons, Franklin McKinley of Cedarvale, Kansas and Thomas McKinley, Bastrop; two daughters, Mrs Marsue Moore of Monroe and Mrs. Joy Crow, Bastrop; three brothers, Douglas Wallace of Dallas, Texas and Leroy Wallace, Gonzales, LA; and three sisters, Mrs Myrtle Rawlinson of Bonita, Mrs Sadie Walker, Minden, and Mrs Martha Watson, Monroe.
She married John Albert Fanklin McKinley January 14, 1928 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA. John was born January 13, 1896 in Taylorsville, Smith Co., MS. John was the son of Daniel McKinley and Della Marsusan Hayes. John died July 1, 1974 in Monroe Ouachita Parish, LA. Obit - Funeral services for John McKinley 78, of Rt.3. Monroe, will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe with the Rev. Harold Hughens officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery at Swartz. Mr. McKinley died Monday at St Francis Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Beulah McKinley of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Sue Moore of Monroe and Mrs. Joy Crow of Bastrop; two sons, Franklin McKinley of Cedar Vale, Kan, and Thomas McKinley of Bastrop, one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Sanford of Taylorsville, Miss.; one brother, Harris McKinley of Houston, Tex. and 16 grandchildren.
