Otto was born March 15, 1889 in Gilpin Co., CO. Otto was the son of Heinrich Ramstetter and Matilda Koch. Otto died November 18, 1942 in Golden, Jefferson Co., CO. OBIT: Otto Albert Ramstetter, native resident of Colorado and pioneer of the Golden Gate community, died Sunday, November 18, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elsie Paddock at Westminster, Colorado, after an illness which extended over the last seven months. He was 53.
Mr. Ramstetter was born in Gilpin County, March 15, 1889, and had always resided in the state. He was the son of Mrs. Matilda Ramstetter and the late Henry Ramstetter. He had lived in Golden Gate Canyon for fifty years and was engaged in farming there for many years.
He is survied by his wife, the former Bertha Olson; his mother Mrs. Matilda Ramstetter, three brothers, George of Central City; Ernest and Henry of Route 2, Golden; seven sons, Virgil and Ernest of Denver; Raymond of Arvada; Gordon Dale, Kenneth, Charles and Richard of Golden Gate; six daughters, Lois Jean, Leona Reardon, Colorado Springs; Elsie Paddock, Westminster; Rose Marie, Arline and Nora Ramstetter of Golden Gate; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Woods Mortuary chapel at 3:30, Wednesday. Interment was in Golden cemetery.
She married (___) Wallace abt 1930 in Bacca Co., CO. According to Myrtle Leona Ramstetter Rufener, Julia's daughter, Julia moved to Colorado from Missouri when she was nine years old.
