Elizabeth was a member of Mizpah Moravian Church and had spent most of her life in the Tobaccoville community prior to moving to King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.F. Allgood.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty A. Conrad and husband John of Winston-Salem and Virginia A. Jones and husband Raymond of King; two grandchildren, Diane C. Knox and Michael A. Conrad; four great-grandchildren, Deidre and Phillip Knox and James and Matthew Conrad; and a great-great-grandchild, Vyctoria Ball.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Slate Funeral Home in King. Burial will follow in the Wolff Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 28, at the funeral home. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Lutheran Home for four months of loving care and to the Hospice and Palliative CareCenter.

She was born June 23, 1936 in Winston-Salem to the late Elvin F. and Elizabeth Anderson Allgood. Mrs. Conrad was preceded in death by
parents and her husband of 49 years. She was the owner Conrad Insurance Agency and retired several years ago. She was a lifelong member of
Mizpah Moravian Church in Rural Hall. Her hobby was ceramics, Christmas trees and porcelain dolls. Surviving are two sisters, Betty A.
Conrad of Winston-Salem and Virginia A. Jones of King; numerous nieces and nephews; great and grand nieces and nephews. A graveside service
will be conducted 11:00AM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Mizpah Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Timothy G. Sapp officiating.
She married Otis Odell Conrad September 16, 1956 in Forsyth Co., NC.
Otis was born July 9, 1933. Otis died September 12, 2006 in Pfafftown, Forsyth Co., NC.
