1175. James W.6 Allgood (Isaac Green5, Joseph Royal4, William (Pikey) Henry3, William John2, Edward1) was born in Sebree, Meade Co. KY 1854. James died April 25 1891 in Putman Co., IN. James was buried in the Coffman Cemetery, preiously known as the Shiloh Church Cemetery. Gravestone showed age of 37 years, indicating he must have been born in 1844. Census of 1850 shows an age making him born in 1846.
He married Emmaline (Emma) Staggs November 26, 1882 in Putman Co., IN. Emmaline was born March 1863 in Douglas Co., IL. Emmaline died February 1951. Obit: Emmaline ALLGOOD, 87, widow of James Allgood died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Koessler in Bainbridge. She was born in Douglas Co IL March 9, 1863. Survivors are 3 sons, Clay of Lafayette, Frank of Roachdale, Ray of Indianapolis, and the daughter. Her husband, one son, Roy, two daughters, Nellie and Mary preceded her in death. Burial in Bainbridge Cemetery.
In 1920, Emaline livined in Monroe Township, Putman Co., IN with her sons Frank and Ray, and daughter Jessie. each being single. The 1900 census shows James and Emaline had 7 children with only 5 living.

Phillip And Leota were buried at the Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN He married Leota Lee Allee November 10, 1919 in Putman Co., IN.
Leota was born May 4, 1899 in Putman Co., IN. Leota was the daughter of (___) Allee and Mary (___). Leota died February 1952. In 1910 Leota lived with her grandfathre William Allee in Putman co., IN

4019 iv. Ray Allgood was born in Bainbridge, Putnam Co., IN September 21, 1892. Ray died May 14, 1952 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN. He married Ruth Ford December 24, 1921 in Marion Co., IN. Ruth was born 1892 in IN. Ruth was the daughter of Harvey Ford and Emma McNorton. In 1920 Ray, single, was a Boarder Marion Co., IN in the home of William H. Ford. He later married Ruth, one of Mr Fors's daughters.
4020 v. Nellie Allgood was born in Putman Co., IN September 5, 1895. Nellie died October 29, 1898 in Putman Co., IN. Nellie was buried in the Bainbridge Cemetery, Bainbridge Putnam Co., IN
4021 vi. Mary Allgood was born in Putman Co., IN December 20, 1898. Mary died bef 1900 in Putman Co., IN.
