Survivors are his wife, a son Leland Allgood of Roachdale, a sister Mrs. Ida Modlin of Roachdale, 6 grandchildren. A son preceded him in death. Burial in New Maysville Cemetery.

He married Clara Elizabeth King January 17, 1892 in Putman Co., IN. Clara was born August 18, 1870 in Putman Co., IN. Clara was the daughter of Peter King. Clara died March 18, 1947 in Putman Co., IN. Clara was buried in the New Maysville Cemetery, Putman Co., IN
