Lela died December 11, 1968 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., IN. OBIT: Lela Eggers Suiter (sic) of Roachdale died Wednesday afternoon in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville following an illness of 3 weeks. She was 79. Mrs. Suiter was born Oct 14, 1889 in Putnam County, a daughter of Thorntown and Sarah King Allgood. In 1908 she married William Franklin Eggers who is deceased. Her second marriage was to Guy Suitor who also rpeceded her. She was a member of New Maysville Methodist Church and resident of New Maysville and Roachdale all her life. Surviviors include 3 daughtesr, Mrs. Irene Wolfenbarger and Mrs. Pansy Rolston of Indianapolis and Mrs. Lela Hedge of Roachdale; a son, Ora Eggers of Greencastle; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters and a son. Services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Perkin Funeral Home. Burial in New Maysville Cemetery.
She married twice. She married William Guy Suiter. William was born August 20, 1888 in Menifee Co., KY. William died August 4, 1961 in Roachdale, Putman Co., IN. She married William Franklin Eggers September 6, 1908 in Putman Co., IN. William was born August 3, 1888 in Maysville, KY. William was the son of Matthew R. Eggers and Anna E. Miller. William died December 7,1953 in Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS.
