Norman died July 29, 2006 in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN. Obit: Norman E. Allgood, age 78, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital of Central Indiana.
He was born in Roachdale to Floyd and Gayle Allgood and had lived in this area since 1992. Mr. Allgood was a W.W. II Navy veteran and was a Common Wealth Life Insurance Agent. Norman attended Central Christian Church. He loved to be outdoors and spend time with grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, writing poetry, singing, and baseball.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda Clement, Marion; Diana (Dr. Alan) Sawchuk, McCordsville; and Alice (Mark) Killion, Centerville; one son Jeryl (Phyllis) Allgood, Marion; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Allgood and George Allgood; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Harold Allgood; one daughter, Carolyn Allgood; one son, Ronald Allgood; and one grandson, Craig Clement
Funeral service for Norman E. Allgood will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville, Ind. Rev. Mark Irwin will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 2, 2006, from noon to 2 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home.

He married twice. He married Geneva Mae Cassity. Geneva was born July 23, 1928 in Amboy, IN. Geneva was the daughter of Edgar Cassity and Gulena Vice. Geneva died March 17, 2004 in Marion, Grant Co., IN. OBIT: Geneva M. Allgood, 75, Marion, died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday in Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Amboy to the late Edgar and Gulena (Vice) Cassity and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. She also loved flowers.
Surviving are a son, Jeryl (Phyllis) Allgood, Marion; daughter, Rhonda Clement, Marion; grandchildren, Rhona (Rick) Johnson, Janell and Kerri Allgood, and Cara and Christina Clement, all of Marion; nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, David Fox, Marion.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Allgood; daughter, Carolyn Marine; and a grandson, Craig Clement.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. today in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with Pastor Chuck McCallum officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery, Marion, Grant Co., IN
Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. until services today at the funeral home.
