OBIT: Services for Yvonne Britt, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Riverwood Family Service Chapel with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. _ Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Britt, 86, died on her birthday, Feb. 23, 2008, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Her husband Wilmer Britt also died on his birthday. She was born on Feb. 23, 1922, to Wiley Allen and Lela Britt. She was retired from Stahl Urban and the Potter Company. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wilmer Britt; her brother Martell Allen; and a son, Carroll Britt. Survivors include her daughter Kathy Evans and husband, Stanley, of Brookhaven; her sister, Magaline Townsend, of Brookhaven; five grandchildren, Kate Smith, Chris Britt, Mitzi Britt, Kimberly James, and Tracey Shufelt; four great-grandchildren Collin James, Noah James, Gibson Britt and Larson Emfinger.
