Samuel died March 30, 1970 in Clubb, Wayne Co., MO. OBIT: Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday, April 1 at the Najim Funeral Home for Mr. Samuel Sherman Barber of Coldwater, who died on March 30 at his home. He was 84 years, 11 months and nine days old at the time of his death. Mr Barber was born in Marquand April 21, 1885, the son of the late Sherman and Mary Barber of Marquand. He was united in marriage to rosa Lee Willmore, who preceded him in death. He late married the former Luster Jane Goad who survives. They were married on December 15, 1946 in Coldwater. Mr Barber is survived by the following children: Vernon, Guy, Clarence, Lawrence, Coldwater; a brother Jerry Fryman, Potosi; eight grandchildren and seven great grand-children. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Barber; a half brother, Charley Fryman; half sister, Ellen Cooper and a sister, Emma Phelps. Mr Barber was a member of the Ozark Tabernacle at Lodl. Burial wa in the Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. Willie Guess officiating. Pallbearers were Lee Fryman, Lester Fryman, Elzie Fryman, Bryon Kennedy, Troy Kennedy, and Orville Kennedy The Najim Funeral Home of Fredericktown handled the Arrangements.
He married twice. He married Luster Jane Good. Luster was born December 27, 1920. Luster died November 19, 1997. Luster was buried in the Linville - Barrett Cemetery, Coldwater,Wayne Co., Mo.
He married Rosa Lee Willmore 1905. Rosa was born February 9, 1889 in Craighead Co., AR. Rosa was the daughter of Simpson Willmore and Sarah (Sally) Sipes. Rosa died January 18, 1938 in Madison Co., MO. Rosa was buried in the Antioch Cemetery

OBIT: William Wilben Barbert died December 7, 1976 in Coldwater. He was 66. Funders aservices were held Dec. 11 at the Wilson Funeral Home.with the Rev. Willie Guess officiating. Burial took place at Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Peppers, Orville Kennedy, Henry Greer, Dennis Graham, Leslie David and Tommy Sullivan. Mr. Barber ws born July 26, 1910 in Coldwater to the alte Samuel and rosa Lee Barber. Survors inlcude three brothers, Guy Barber and Clarenc Barber both of Fredericktown and Lawrence Barber of Chicago; five sisters, Mrs Earl Spain of Coldwater, Mrs. Danny Parson of Lodi, Mrs Noah Sullivan of Brunos, Etherl Barber and Mrs John Marler both of St. Lous; four nieces and five nephews. Mr. Barber waws preceeded in death by his sister Mary Irene Barber.
