He married three times. He married Stella Herring January 9, 1899. Stella was born May 1879 in GA. Stella was the daughter of John Newton Herring and Matilda Carithers. Stella died May 12, 1903 in GA. He married Farrience Alice N. Fields 1903. Farrience was born 1884 in GA. Farrience died 1910 in GA. He married Neva Cosrnelia Palmer November 19, 1911. Neva was born June 10, 1890 in Green Co., GA. Neva was the daughter of Samuel Bennett Palmer and Sidney Frances Humphrey. Neva died November 30, 1963 in Clarke Co., GA.

3339 iv. Sarah Frances Allgood was born December 18, 1915. Sarah died April 27, 1984 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., GA. She married Henry Joseph Morton. Henry was born November 6, 1913. Henry was the son of Melvin Frank Morton and Annie Pauline Anchors. Henry died March 13, 2004 in Athens, Clarke Co., GA.

3340 v. Carl Palmer (Bo) Allgood was born in Clarke Co., GA December 9, 1917. Carl died December 21, 2001 in High Shoals, Oconee Co., GA. Obit: Capt. Carl P. ''Bo'' Allgood, 84, a native and life-long resident of Clarke County died December 21, 2001.

He was the son of the late Mr. Alvin L. and Neva C. Palmer Allgood. Mr. Allgood attended Athens High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air forces, and a police officer for 43 years, retiring in 1982. Mr. Allgood was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and the J & J Coffee Club. He was preceded in death by a sister: Sarah Frances Allgood; and three brothers: Frank, Robert, and Alvin Allgood.

He is survived by a brother: H. Bradford Allgood of Athens; two nephews: Norman Allgood of Athens and Carlas Allgood of Watkinsville; one niece: Hazel Allgood Yancy of Hernando,FL; a sister-in-law: Louise Allgood of Athens, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00- 8:00 P.M.. The Funeral Service will be held at Bridges Funeral Home Chapel Sunday 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. The Athens-Clarke County Police Force, and members of the J & J Coffee Club will be Honorary Pall-bearers.
