Visitation is Friday, June 13 from 5-9 at Riverwood.

Mrs. Parent, 61, passed away June 11, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge LA. She was born on September 14, 1952 to Charles E. Sandifer, Sr. and Belva Sandifer.

She was of the Catholic faith and was retired as a nurse from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales LA.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. E.D. Sandifer, Sr. and Mr & Mrs. Fred Allen and a brother, Donald Allen Sandifer.

She is survived by her parents, her husband, Leonard J. Parent; son, Leonard "Joey" J. Parent Jr. & wife Amber; daughter, Erin Parent; brother, Charles E. Sandifer, Jr. and wife Nina; sister, Gail Sandifer Gray and husband Ricky; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Parent.

Sheryl Belinda Sandifer and Leonard J. Parent had the following children:
