Mary died November 14, 2013 in Jacksonville, Duval Co, FL. OBIT" Mary Patricia Porter (Tutu) Dotson, age 91, passed away November 14, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. She grew up in Phenix City, Alabama and as an Air Force wife lived all over the world. She was born to Wilburn Porter and Jewel Newsome. She was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ashburn Dotson, her son, Brian Kim Dotson, and grandson, Thomas Eric Dotson. She is survived by her son, Richard Dexter Dotson (Sherry), her daughter, Pamela Jean Lohse (Norbert), and sister-in-law, Cheryl McLanahan, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Memorial service will be 10 AM Friday, November 22, 2013 at Englewood Christian Church, 4316 Barnes Road.
She married Richard Ashburn Dotson February 10, 1943 in Opelika, Lee Co., AL. Richard was born May 28, 1925 in Cario, Alexander Co., IL. Richard died November 28, 2008 in Jacksonville, Duval Co, FL.
