He married Eliza Bell Johnson 1897. Eliza was born January 1873 in Sebree, Meade Co. KY. Eliza died 1964.

Thomas Jefferson Baity and Eliza Bell Johnson had the following child:

 3960 i. Ray Hone⁹ Baity was born October 14, 1901.
