Thomas died March 30, 1956 in Louisinia, Pike Co., MO. The funeral services for Frank Henderson, who for several years has livedat 302 South Fifth, Louisiana, were conducted in the First BaptistChurch at 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The service was in charge of theRev. Cecil P. Logan, his pastor. Mr. Henderson passed away in the PikeCounty Hospital at 8:42 a.m. Friday. He had been in failing healthfor some time, and his condition became worse the past few weeks. Mr.Henderson, who was employed as an auto mechanic until he retiredseveral years ago, was born at White Hall, Ill., on Sept. 29, 1887, a son of Joseph and Melvina BlacketterHenderson. He was preceded in death by a son, John Earl Henderson. Heis survived by his wife, Ida; one daughter, Mrs. Marion Cothron ofClarksville; and the following sons: Samuel of Edwardsville, Ill.,Ervin of Bowling Green, Albert of Louisiana, Major Merle Henderson ofDayton, Ohio, Robert of Dectur, Ill., and S/Sgt. Frank Henderson, Jr.,of Washington, D. C. He also leaves nine grandchildren and a brother,John Henderson, of Pittsfield. ... Interment was in RiverviewCemetery. The body remained in state at the home from 5 p.m. Fridayuntil time for the service. During his long residence in Louisiana Mr.Henderson was active in business and civic affairs. He was acandidate for councilman in the city election last year. He married Ida Rachel Lee September 9, 1905 in Lincoln Co., MO. Ida was born June 30, 1888 in Hilton Station, MO. Ida died April 1986 in Louisinia, Pike Co., MO. Ida was buried in the Riverview Cemetery, Louisinia, MO
