Thomas was the son of Nathan Nicholas Smith and Martha Elizabeth (Patsy) Case. Thomas died December 31, 1882 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co, MS. Thomas was buried in Friendship Baptist Ch Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.

 4200 ix. Annie Smith was born February 12,1869. Annie died March 17, 1943. She married William Winfield Case. William was born 1859. William died 1942 in McComb, Pike Co., MS. In 1930 Annie was single and living with Johnson and his family.

 4202 xi. Alice Smith was born October 25, 1869.

 4203 xii. Louis Loring Smith was born Octobe 28, 1871. Louis died July 5, 1934. He married Juniper (Junie) Smith February 4, 1895 in Lincoln Co., MS. Juniper was born April 26, 1880 in Lincoln Co., MS. Juniper was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Smith and Frances A. Wainwright. Juniper died 1899.
