Carrie was born May 2, 1906 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Carrie was the son of John Marion Smith and Lucretia Louise Britt. Carrie died March 30, 1974. Carrie and Alpha were buried in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Lincoln Co., MS.
