Alice died May 16, 1998 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. Alice and Johnny were was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Brookhaven, Lawrence Co., MS.

She married Johnny Wooten. Johnny was born June 12, 1910. Johnny was the son of Prentiss W. Wooten and Oma Lofton. Johnny died June 24, 1985 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS.

 25692 i. Dorothy Nan11 Wooten was born in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS October 19, 1933. Dorothy died July 16, 2010 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Funeral services for Dorothy Nan Wooten Case, of Brookhaven, are 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Case, 76, died July 16, 2010, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 19, 1933, to Johnny Wooten and Alice Case Wooten.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Emerson Case, of Brookhaven; her sister, Sue W. Leggett and husband, Roger, of Brookhaven; her nieces, Stacy Burgess Walker and Brook Burgess Walker; and her nephew, Jonathan Burgess.

She married Emerson Case.

Emerson was born August 28, 1921. Emerson was the son of Perlie Cornelious Case and Carrie Chandler. Emerson died April 13, 2014 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Mr. Emerson Case, 92, a resident of Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven, passed away April 13, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Case was born in Lincoln County on August 28, 1921 to the late Perlie Case and Carrie Chandler Case.

Mr. Case was of Baptist faith and served in the US Army during WWII. He was retired from Lockheed Aircraft in Texas.

Mr. Case was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Nettie Case; two wives, Geneva Martin Case and Dorothy Wooten Case; his daughter, Carol Case; his sisters, Iva Pearl Case Smith and Virgie Case Arnold; his brothers, Elkin Case and Elmer (Toke) Case; and two step-sisters, Bernice Walker and Donis Rae Tullos.

Mr. Case is survived by one son, Danny Case of Texas; his half-brother, Delton Case and wife Barbara of Hendersonville, TN; two grandsons, Robert Wesley Case and Roger Case; his brother-in-law, Charles Martin; his sister-in-law, Bobbie Martin; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Amite County. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm.
