Mrs. Mason, 64, died Sept. 9, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on March 21, 1940, to Willie and Edna Earl Walker West.

Survivors are her three daughters, Sandra Mason of Biloxi, Gina Mason of Baton Rouge, La., and Sara Renee Mason of Raymond; and her sister, Betty Jean Barnes of El Dorado, Ark.

She married Ray Eldred Mason.
