Ruby died April 18, 2007 in Jena, LaSalle Parrish, LA. OBIT: Ruby Elizabeth Kitterlin, 88, of Jena, died Wednesday, April 19, 2007, at the LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a homemaker. She was a resident of LaSalle Nursing Home and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, where she served as church clerk for 26 years. Services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 21, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Albert Vickers and P. A. "Fox" Paul officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kitterlin, Sr.; a daughter, Kathy Gayle Kitterlin; a step-daughter, Vernie Wright; grandsons, Malcomb Kitterlin, Mark Kitterlin, and Tony Kitterlin; daughter-in-law, Geneva Kitterlin; seven sisters and one brother. Survivors include two sons, Buster Kitterlin and Lyndall Kitterlin and wife Linda, all of Jena; daughter, Jean Hutchinson and husband Gary of Pineville; one sister, Sybil McFarlen of Jena; one brother, Louis Clark of Alexandria; five grandsons, Mike Kitterlin, Darryle Kitterlin, and Derek Kitterlin, all of Jena; Steve Hutchinson and Kevin Hutchinson, of Pineville; two granddaughters, Stephanie McCarroll and husband Mike, and Kim Franklin and husband Craig, all of Jena; fifteen great-grandchildren, Lannah, Bradley, Drew, Jase, Haley, Lacey, Reagan, Tyler, Tanner, Trace, Brooklyn, Jason, Calvin, Karly, and Wyatt. Pallbearers were Steve Hutchinson, Kevin Hutchinson, Mike Kitterlin, Darryle Kitterlin, Derek Kitterlin, and Mike McCarroll.
She married John Kitterlin. John was born October 2, 1909. John died January 18,1981 in Jena, LaSalle Parrish, LA.
Ruby Elizabeth Clark and John Kitterlin had the following children:
