Mother unknown, Ruby was her step-mother Vernie died February 25, 2004 in Jena, LaSalle Parrish, LA. OBIT: Funeral services for Vernie Marie Wright will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena, with the Revs. Ricky Wilson and Albert Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Jena under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena.
Mrs. Wright, age 73, of Jena, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
She was a nurse's aide.
Survivors include her stepmother, Ruby C. Kitterlin of Jena; sister, Gloria Jean Hutchinson of Pineville; and brothers, Lyndall Kitterlin and John "Buster" Kitterlin, both of Jena, La.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hutchinson, Kevin Hutchinson, Charlie Chapman, Mike Kitterlin, Darryle Kitterlin and Derek Kitterlin.
Friends may call at Hixson Brothers after 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2004.
