She married Prentiss Hayward Price February 22,1946 in Lincoln Co., MS. Prentiss was born August 30, 1921 in Pike Co., MS. Prentiss was the son of Prentiss Marshall Price and Cora Emily Holmes. Prentiss died December 7, 1994 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA.

Helen Irene Nevels and Prentiss Hayward Price had the following children:

 25894 i. Prentiss Hayward¹¹ Price JR (still alive).

 25895 ii. Wanda Jean Price (living).

 25896 iii. Jeffrey Dwight Price was born October 18, 1954. Jeffrey died July 6, 1992 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parrish. LA. He married Rossanne Massey December 24, 1980.
