Frances died September 14,2106 in Wesson, Copiah Co, MS. OBIT: Services for Mrs. Marie B. Britt will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on September, 16, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Riverwood Family Funeral Service and will continue prior to the service at the church from 1:00pm till service time.
Marie B. Britt, 89, of Wesson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 14, 2016.
She was born on August 16, 1927 to Homer W. Britt and Edna Smith Britt.
Mrs. Britt was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Paul Clayton Britt; parents, Homer and Edna Britt; brothers, Jack Britt and Homer Britt, Jr. and nephew Jackie Cannon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Greg Britt, Ann Johnson and husband Don, Paula Hart and husband Johnny; four grandchildren, Toni Ladner and husband Steven, Clay Posey and wife Leslie, Erin Hester and husband Christopher and Brett Hart and wife CaryAnne. Mrs. Marie is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Mackenzie and Jackson Ladner; Kennedy, Grayson, Emma and Landon Posey; Carson and Embry Hester and Molly and Henry Hart.
She married Paul Clayton Britt January 24, 1948 in Lincoln Co., MS. Paul was born March 14, 1927 in Lincoln Co., MS. Paul is the son of Homer Landon Britt and Ida Corene Minton.
Frances Marie Britt and Paul Clayton Britt had the following children:
