Jack died May 18, 2004 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for Jack Edwin Britt of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Thursday, May 20, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 5-9 p.m., at Community Funeral Services Chapel, and Thursday from 9-10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Mr. Britt, 63, died May 18, 2004, at Silver Cross Nursing Home. He was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 3, 1941, to Homer W. Britt and Edna Smith. He was a truck driver for Cisco. Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Jackie B. Cannon; and a brother, Homer Britt Jr. Survivors are his daughter, Michelle B. Warren of Vidalia, La.; his son, Mack Britt of Vidalia; his daughter-in-law, Angela Cannon of Magnolia; his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Clayton Britt of Wesson; and his grandchildren, Chelsa Cannon of Magnolia, and Macy Hamilton of Vidalia.
He married twice. He married Katherine Delaughter Cannon March 23, 1963 in Lincoln Co., MS. Katherine was the daughter of Charles Sula Cannon and Winnie Maude Delaughter.
