Charles died June 23, 1984 in Meadville, Franklin Co., MS. Charles was buried in Roxie Cemetery, Roxie, Franklin Co., MS.

He married Era Lee Seab April 18, 1946 in Biloxi, Harrison Co., MS. Era was born May 25, 1916 in Roxie, Franklin Co., MS. Era was the daughter of Frederic August Seab. Era died September 6, 2002 in Natchez, Adams Co., MS.. OBIT: Services for Era Lee Seab Smith of Roxie are 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with burial in Roxie Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith, 86, died Sept. 6, 2002, at Natchez Regional Hospital. She was born in Franklin County on May 26, 1916, to the late Frederic A. Seab and the late Mary Lee McMillian Seab.

She was a seamstress. She was a member of Roxie Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Smith; and one son.

Survivors are her sons, Glenn Smith of Natchez and Wayne Smith of Terry; her brother, Frederic Seab of Moss Point; her sisters, Elsie Woodyear, Norine Woodyear, Francis Leist and Christine Corban, all of Roxie; and two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Charles Marshall (Bud) Smith and Era Lee Seab had the following children:

 41597 iii. Thomas Warren Smith was born in Natchez, Adams Co. MS August 25, 1952. Thomas died August 28, 1952 in Natchez, Adams Co. MS. Thomas was buried in Roxie Cemetery, Roxie, Franklin Co., MS.
