David died January 24, 2006 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Co., MS. OBIT: Services for David Brian Laird, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Laird, 50, died Jan. 24, 2006, at his residence. He was born on Feb. 13, 1955, to David W. Laird and Eva Nell Smith Laird. He was a truck driver and a DJ for WBKN radio in Brookhaven. He was a member of Brookway Church of Christ. Preceding him in death was his father. Survivors are his mother; his wife, Gaye Laird, of Brookhaven; his stepsons, Shawn Talbert, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Iain Mathes, of Brookhaven; his brother, Kevin Laird, of Brookhaven; his sisters, Linda Laird and Wanda Laird, both of Brookhaven; and one grandchild.

He married twice.

David Brian Laird and Carman Sauls had the following children:
