He married Mary Katheryn Fambrough August 4,1945 in Brownwood, Brown Co., TX. Mary was born January 13, 1928 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX. Mary died October 13, 2018.

W. D. (Dub) Allgood and Mary Katheryn Fambrough had the following children:
